Unfinished4
I’m pretty sure one of my roommates moved out today.
I’m not totally sure though, because I don’t even know the kid’s name, let alone his personal life.
Everything I know about him has been gathered from what I’ve heard through my bedroom wall.
Everything I know about him has been gathered from what I’ve heard through my bedroom wall.
Today through the wall, I heard him and his girlfriend* moving his stuff out into his friend’s truck in front of our house.
I’m sadly very happy to watch him leave, because I know it will bring a lot more peace to this household. When a DUI is your third strike, you don’t deserve to be going to college. Who am I to judge though? I’ve never had an actual conversation with the kid — I’ve only really talked to him in passing.
Living with people like that makes me never want to leave my room, which is why I very seldom do so. Whenever I do have to leave, I always make sure to listen through the wall to see if anyone’s out there. And if someone is, I’ll just wait. But if I have a reason that I really need to go
*he’s screwing someone else, but I don’t think she knows.. another thing I've learned through the wall.
